David Robertson returns to conduct a program of music from Romania, Hungary and Russia. Seattle Symphony Concertmaster Noah Geller takes center stage with Bartok’s dramatic Second Violin Concerto, which veers between mystery, exuberance and transcendence. Ligeti’s Romanian Concerto brims with tuneful folk-inspired melodies.
