Music Academy Of The West

Join us for an enchanting evening of music and camaraderie at "Fellow Fridays II," part of the Music Academy of the West's celebrated Fellow Fridays Series. This unique event, set against the backdrop of the beautiful Hahn Hall on July 19th, invites you to experience the creative brilliance of our fellows as they curate a concert featuring their favorite chamber works. From the intricate melodies of Henri Tomasi's "Fanfares liturgiques" to the rhythmic complexities of Béla Bartók's "Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion, Sz. 110, BB 115," prepare for a journey through a wide variety of instrument combinations, genres, and styles.

The evening promises not just a concert but an immersive experience, starting at 7:30 pm. Before the performance, attendees are encouraged to partake in a pre-concert picnic, a perfect opportunity to mingle with fellow music enthusiasts and enjoy the scenic beauty of Santa Barbara. The concert itself will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, including one intermission, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the musical talents of tomorrow's leading artists.

Tickets for "Fellow Fridays II" are now available, with prices starting at $45. This event not only offers you a chance to witness the exceptional talent of our fellows but also supports the Music Academy of the West's mission to cultivate the next generation of great classical musicians. Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy a summer evening filled with breathtaking music, community, and the scenic elegance of Santa Barbara's premier music venue.
