This special concert will take place on Thursday, August 1st, at 7:30 pm in the acoustically superb Hahn Hall, located on our beautiful beachside campus in Santa Barbara, CA.

This year's x2: V concert, titled "WHEN FORCES COMBINE," showcases the ultimate masters of chamber music as our distinguished teaching artists perform side-by-side with our incredibly talented fellows. The program promises an inspiring array of performances, lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes with one intermission, featuring works by David Lang, Robert Schumann, and Johannes Brahms. Highlights include Lang's "Cheating, Lying, Stealing," Schumann's "Andante and Variations, Op. 46," and Brahms' "String Sextet No. 2 in G Major, Op. 36."

Featured artists for the evening include Michael Werner, showcasing his expertise in percussion and orchestral studies, alongside collaborative pianists Natasha Kislenko and Margaret McDonald, and violinists Sibbi Bernhardsson and Martin Beaver, among others. Each artist brings a unique flair and depth of experience to the performance, promising a night of breathtaking music.
