New Opera West is excited to present its Spring Pop-Up Festival, a vibrant showcase of new mini-operas that promises to be an unforgettable experience for opera enthusiasts and newcomers alike. This season, the festival is proud to partner with The Opera Buffs, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting emerging classical singers. The collaboration brings to the stage an array of talented performers from The Opera Buffs' roster, offering them a platform to shine.

The festival features five new mini-operas, selected from a global call for scores that attracted over 100 submissions from composers and librettists worldwide. This rigorous selection process ensures that attendees will experience the freshest and most innovative works the opera world has to offer.

- Dates and Times:
  - Saturday, April 27, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM
  - Sunday, April 28, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
- Location: MiMoDa Studio, with the opportunity to enjoy pre-performance tamales, wine, and beer for sale on Saturday at 7 PM, and a chance to have lunch at the Paper & Plastic Café, conveniently attached to MiMoDa Studio, before Sunday's performance.
- Tickets: General Admission is priced at $17, while Artists & Students can avail of a discounted rate of $12.
