This year marks our 3rd annual celebration, where classic silent films come to life with newly composed music. Esteemed composer Stephen Prutsman has crafted exquisite scores for each film, which will be performed live by a talented ensemble of festival musicians. The lineup includes the hilariously inventive "One Week" by Buster Keaton, a story about a newlywed couple's adventures with a prefab house. "Mighty Like a Moose" by Charley Chase, a masterpiece of silent comedy, will also grace the screen, along with the charming "Cupid in Quarantine" from 1918 and the thrilling "Suspense" from 1913.

Our musicians for the event include Nikki Chooi and Daria T. Adams on violin, Hyobi Sim on viola, Julie Albers on cello, and Jeffrey LaDeur on piano. These accomplished artists will bring the silent era back to life in the intimate setting of the Jarvis Conservatory theater, promising an unforgettable experience.
