Huntington Theatre Company

Join us for an unforgettable evening at the Spotlight Gala hosted by the Huntington Theatre Company, set to take place on Monday, May 6, 2024, at the iconic Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts. This gala is not just an event; it's a celebration of exceptional honorees, the Huntington's contributions as a public good, and a vision for the future that promises to inspire and engage.

The evening will commence at 6:30 PM with a reception, followed by a dinner at 7:45 PM that includes performances and a live auction, all within the stunning ambiance of The Cyclorama. Guests are encouraged to dress in festive attire, making it a perfect occasion to showcase your style while supporting the arts.

This year, we are proud to honor individuals who have shown unparalleled support and leadership. The Wimberly Award Honorees, Karen & David Firestone, and the Encore Award Honorees, Lydia R. Diamond and Sherryl & Gerard H. Cohen, have each made significant contributions to the Huntington and the broader arts community. Their dedication and passion for the arts have been instrumental in advancing the Huntington's mission.

The gala is chaired by Donald Nelson, Bobby Perino-Thompson, and Veronica Wiseman, with Karen Holmes Ward, a Huntington Trustee and WCVB CityLine Host, serving as the host for the evening. The event also boasts a committee of distinguished members from the community, all working together to ensure the gala's success.

Your participation in the Spotlight Gala directly supports the Huntington Theatre Company's artistic, education, and community programs. It's an opportunity to be part of something truly special, celebrating the power of theatre and its ability to connect, uplift, and educate.
