Skaneateles Festival

Join us for an enchanting evening at the Skaneateles Festival on Thursday, August 15, 2024, featuring the mesmerizing talents of Kinan Azmeh & Claremont Trio. The evening promises to be a memorable one, starting with a unique opportunity at 7:00 PM for a BACKSTAGE PASS event. Composer and clarinetist Kinan Azmeh will join Festival Artistic Directors Aaron Wunsch and Julia Bruskin for an insightful conversation about his new trio, a Skaneateles Festival commission set to debut that night. Known for his spellbinding performances and works commissioned by prestigious groups like the New York Philharmonic and the Silkroad Ensemble, Azmeh's collaboration with the Claremont Trio is eagerly anticipated.

The program for the night includes:
- KHATCHATURIAN Trio for Clarinet, Violin, and Piano
- Kinan AZMEH New Work for piano trio, commissioned by the Skaneateles Festival
- Kinan AZMEH On Solitude and Other Ambiguous Emotions
- BRAHMS Trio in C Major, Op. 87

This performance is part of the Commissioned Works Series, supported by Doug Sutherland and Nancy Kramer through their Creative Endeavors Fund.
