Join us for an evening of classical music excellence with the Manchester Music Festival's Young Artists: Program One, taking place on Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the SVAC Arkell Pavilion, located at 860 Southern Vermont Arts Center Drive, Manchester, VT, 05254. This event marks a highlight of our 50th Anniversary Season, showcasing the incredible talent of our young artists.

The program features a selection of masterpieces from the classical repertoire, including Johannes Brahms' lively Hungarian Dances for piano four hands, WoO 1, Sergei Rachmaninov's deeply emotional Trio élégiaque No. 1 in G minor, and Robert Schumann's Piano Quartet in E-flat major, Op. 47. The evening will conclude with Felix Mendelssohn's vibrant String Quintet No. 2 in B-flat, Op. 87, promising a diverse and engaging experience for all attendees.

Performing these works will be a group of exceptionally talented young musicians: Brian Anderson (viola), Andrew Cannestra (piano), Hannah Corbett (violin), Bree Fotheringham (violin), Antonia Fuglsang (violin), Dylan Kinneavy (cello), Ignacio García Núñez (cello), Julia Pałęcka (viola), Johannes Rosenberg (violin), and Hang Zhong (piano).
