The hills are alive again with The Sound of Music In Concert at the von Trapp Family Lodge Concert Meadow! After a sold-out run in 2024, we’re returning to the Green Mountain hills to bring Rodgers & Hammerstein’s legendary music to where it was destined to be heard. These performances of The Sound of Music In Concert are conducted by VSO’s Music Director Andrew Crust, and are brought to you by Lyric Theatre Company and the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, and are produced in partnership with von Trapp Family Lodge and Resort, The Flynn, and Stowe Performing Arts. In case of inclement weather, performances will take place at The Flynn in Burlington.

His performances are known for their intensity and the deep connection they forge with audiences, featuring extensive improvisation and a strong emphasis on political themes.
