Join us for an evening of profound musical expression at the Rising Artists Concert, presented by Ascent Music. This special event is scheduled for July 3, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and will take place at the serene Chapel at Western Reserve Academy, located at 147 College St., Hudson, OH 44236.

The concert will feature an evocative program that pays homage to resilience through the power of music. Highlighting the evening is Mieczysław Weinberg's Sonata No. 5 for violin and piano, alongside Dmitri Shostakovich's epic Piano Quintet, reflecting their personal battles and triumphs against oppressive regimes. Additionally, the concert will premiere "Anne Frank" by Victoria Bond and present an original arrangement of "Wiegala" by Ilse Weber, a poignant piece penned in the Theresienstadt concentration camp.

Performances will be delivered by a distinguished ensemble of musicians, including Grigory Kalinovsky (violin), Sarah Kim (cello), Melissa Kraut (cello), Paul Laraia (viola), Alan Rafferty (cello), Karlos Rodriguez (cello), and Vladimir Stoupel (piano).
