The Mithras Trio, comprising Ionel Manciu on violin, Leo Popplewell on cello, and Dominic Degavino on piano, will take you on a musical journey through time. The evening's repertoire includes the Germaine Tailleferre Piano Trio 1916/17, rev. 1978, Saint-Saëns Piano Trio No.1 in F, Op.18, and Beethoven's Piano Trio in B flat, Op.97 "Archduke". Each piece has been carefully selected to showcase the trio's incredible talent and to create a captivating experience for the audience.

Saint-Saëns’ first Piano Trio is inspired by a holiday in the Pyrenees, offering a charming and rustic feel, while Tailleferre's Trio, revised over 60 years after its initial composition, adds a spirited finale to the evening. Beethoven’s "Archduke" Trio, despite its challenging debut, is celebrated for its noble and spacious composition, promising to leave a lasting impression.
