Join us for an unforgettable evening of classical music as Daniel Hope and the Polish Chamber Orchestra of Sinfonia Varsovia grace the stage at the Alexander W. Dreyfoos Concert Hall on February 24, 2025. After last season's acclaimed "America" program, master violinist Daniel Hope returns with his award-winning project, "Journey to Mozart." As the last protégé of the legendary violinist Yehudi Menuhin, Hope collaborates with Menuhin's most frequent ensemble, the Polish Chamber Orchestra of Sinfonia Varsovia, to explore the rich musical period from 1760-1810. This period encompasses the era before, during, and after Mozart's lifetime, through his violin works and those of his contemporaries like Gluck and Haydn.

The program promises an evening dedicated to "Journey to Mozart," offering audiences a deep dive into the compositions that shaped the classical music landscape around Mozart's era. To enhance your experience, join us for the "Beyond The Stage Pre-Concert Talk" from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Rinker Playhouse. Hosted by the Kravis Center’s Classical Artistic Advisor, Phillip Bergmann, this talk provides fascinating insights into the music, musicians, and composers featured in the evening's performance. Special guests from the ensembles will be interviewed, offering a unique perspective on the program.
