Pomona College’s Music Department is pleased to invite you to a special performance by the Italian Baroque ensemble Opera Prima, featuring soprano Amanda Forsythe, in Tormento Seicento: an exploration of the 17th-century Passions of the Soul, in virtuosic arias and fiery instrumental works by Monteverdi, Rossi, Merula, and Caccini.
