Pomona College Jazz Ensemble 2023

The Pomona College Jazz Ensemble, directed by Barb Catlin, is a select ensemble and consists of students from across the Claremont Colleges. Their repertoire encompasses a variety of styles with past concerts offering programs including: “Jazz from Jones to Jaco,” “Music from the ’20s and ’30s,” “What is Beautiful” with Katisse, Buckingham, “Charles Mingus: Music for Protest and Innovation,” “A Tribute to Blue Note Records,” and more.
