**Event Overview:**
Join us for an extraordinary evening of music with The Forest, a cooperative percussion quintet known for their innovative approach to music. The ensemble's performance will feature a blend of influences, including music of the African diaspora, contemporary styles, free improvisation, and other musical forms and philosophies. The Forest is dedicated to both improvisation and composition, performing new and existing works by its members as well as selected pieces by other artists.

**Special Guest:**
The performance will be enhanced by the presence of renowned jazz percussionist Warren Smith, an original member of the groundbreaking ensemble M’BOOM.
