- **Jessie Montgomery:** The Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s Mead Composer-in-Residence and Musical America’s 2023 Composer of the Year, Montgomery is celebrated for her profoundly felt works that interweave elements of classical and vernacular music, improvisation, poetry, and social consciousness. Her compositions have been presented by prestigious orchestras and ensembles, and she has received numerous accolades, including the Sphinx Medal of Excellence and the Leonard Bernstein Award from the ASCAP Foundation.

- **Third Coast Percussion:** Celebrating its 20th anniversary, this Chicago-based ensemble is known for its virtuosic and energetic performances that explore the vast possibilities of percussion music.
