Arian Khaefi takes the podium to conduct this program of rich choral and symphonic repertoire. We’ll open with R. Nathaniel Dett’s The Chariot Jubilee, a spell-binding oratorio that is “deep rooted in Spirituals and folklore.” We’ll then present Young Artists Competition winner from 2021, Ayrton Coehlo Pisco, as soloist in Mendelssohn’s gorgeous Violin Concerto.
