#### Event Overview
Join the award-winning group Veronneau, fronted by Quebecoise vocalist Lynn Veronneau and UK guitarist Ken Avis, as they transport audiences back to 1971. This was a pivotal year in American music history marked by the release of Joni Mitchell's "Blue" and Carole King's "Tapestry." Through a blend of anecdotes and songs, Veronneau and Avis celebrate these landmark albums that spotlighted women as composers and performers, sharing Mitchell and King’s stories in their own words. Both "Blue" and "Tapestry" are critically acclaimed and commercially successful albums, filled with songs of inspiration, love, home, and loss.

#### Performer Background
Veronneau has graced stages at the Music Center at Strathmore, the Kennedy Center, the legendary Blues Alley supper club, the DC Jazz Festival, and venues across the US, Canada, and Europe.
