**Participation Details:**
- **Performance:** Each participant will have up to 3 and a half minutes to perform a Shakespeare monologue or sonnet of their choice. Memorization is encouraged but not required.
- **Judging:** Three judges will be selected at random from the audience. Performers will be scored out of 10.0, and the top three scorers will advance to the callback round for a second performance.
- **Winner:** The overall winner of the callback round will be crowned "Best of the Bards" and will receive a prize of $20.

**Audience Participation:**
- If you prefer not to perform, come and enjoy the performances, partake in merriment, and perhaps even serve as a judge. No prior experience is necessary.
- All full-price ticket purchases include a complimentary glass of wine.

- **Price:** $15.00 (plus a $2.00 fee)

**Additional Information:**
- The first 15 participants to sign up at the door will be guaranteed entry into the slam. Up to 3 additional participants may be wait-listed based on time constraints.
