**Event Overview:**
"The Counter" is a new play by acclaimed playwright Meghan Kennedy, known for her previous works "Too Much, Too Much, Too Many" and "Napoli, Brooklyn." Directed by Tony Award winner David Cromer ("The Band’s Visit"), this production promises to be a compelling and thought-provoking experience.

**Synopsis:**
Set in a small-town diner, "The Counter" explores the unexpected friendship between a waitress and a regular customer. Their daily interactions take a surprising turn when the customer asks for a shocking favor, revealing deep secrets and transforming their lives. This play is a funny, surprising, and moving meditation on the everyday connections that can change our lives.
