### The Highwaymen Show: Great American Outlaws Tribute at Genesee Theatre

**Date:** Friday, August 16, 2024
**Time:** 7:00 PM
**Location:** Genesee Theatre

#### Event Description:
Get ready to experience a night of legendary country music as "The Highwaymen Show: Great American Outlaws Tribute" takes the stage at the Genesee Theatre. This unique tribute concert pays homage to the iconic supergroup that featured the Mount Rushmore of country music: Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson.

With their roughneck, rocky-tonk attitude and rebel image, these country music legends bridged the gap between rootsy country music and the rule-breaking stomp of rock 'n' roll. Imagine four country tribute artists sharing the stage, each taking turns singing while the other talented performers provide tight backup harmonies. Each song is performed exactly as you remember it, bringing back the golden age of classic country music.

This is the only touring show in the world that pays tribute to all four Highwaymen. You'll hear hit after hit, great stories, and chart-topping songs that these superstars penned for other artists. Songs like "On the Road Again," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Luckenbach, Texas," "Me and Bobby McGee," "I Walk the Line," "Always On My Mind," "Ring of Fire," and the "Theme from The Dukes of Hazzard" will transport you back in time.
