**Synopsis:**
"Daddy Long Legs" is a heartwarming musical based on the 1955 film featuring Fred Astaire and Leslie Caron, and the novel by Jean Webster. The story follows Jerusha Abbott, a young woman raised in a New England orphanage, who receives an unexpected opportunity to attend college thanks to a mysterious benefactor. The only conditions are that she must become a writer and write letters to her benefactor, who will never respond. The only clue to his identity is his tall, long-legged shadow. This clever two-person musical, with music and lyrics by Paul Gordon and a book by John Caird, reveals the secret of happiness through its charming narrative.
