Over the course of a decades-long friendship, internationally renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma and virtuoso pianist Kathyrn Stott have developed a kind of secret communication, a wellspring of shared inspiration that creates perfectly attuned, absolutely brilliant performances. It’s easy to get lost in their music: “like champion dancers who anticipate each other’s moves … their playing is elegant and from the heart”.
