The South Dakota Symphony and Chorus revive Douglas Moore's Pulitzer-Prize winning opera inspired by Ole Edvart Rølvaag's epic novel about Norwegian settlers of the Dakota Territory in 1873. Staged with imagery, costumes, and sung in English.
