### BCMG Young Composers Free Music Workshops for 11-14 Year Olds

The Birmingham Contemporary Music Group (BCMG) is excited to announce the "BCMG Young Composers" project, a series of free music workshops designed for budding composers aged 11-14 (School Years 7-9). This initiative offers young musicians the unique opportunity to compose for BCMG musicians under the guidance of composer Kirsty Devaney.

#### Workshop Details
- **Dates and Times:**
  - **Sunday, 29 September 2024:** 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  - **Sunday, 20 October 2024:** 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  - **Sunday, 3 November 2024:** 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  - **Sunday, 1 December 2024:** 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Venue TBC)

  - CBSO Centre, Berkley Street, Birmingham, B1 2LF

#### Participation Requirements
- **Eligibility:** Open to young people aged 11-14 who are in School Years 7-9.
- **Musical Experience:** Experience in reading and writing music notation is helpful but not required.
- **Attendance:** Participants must be able to attend all workshop sessions.

- **Cost:** All workshops are free, with an optional donation.
