Paul Weller, the iconic British musician known for his influential work with The Jam and The Style Council, is set to perform at the Count Basie Center for the Arts. This concert marks the beginning of his first North American tour since 2017, in support of his upcoming album "66," which is scheduled for release on May 24, just a day before Weller's 66th birthday.

"66" is Weller's 17th solo album and 28th overall, featuring a reflective and introspective tone. The album was recorded primarily at Weller's own Black Barn Studio and includes contributions from notable artists such as Noel Gallagher, Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream, Suggs McPherson of Madness, Richard Hawley, Dr. Robert of The Blow Monkeys, Christophe Vaillant of Le SuperHomard, and Erland Cooper. String arrangements are provided by Hannah Peel. The first single, "Soul Wandering," co-written with Gillespie, has received critical acclaim for its Bowie-esque feel and introspective lyrics.
