RCMJD Late Night Jazz

The sixteen-piece big band breaks down into smaller combos to perform a broad spectrum of jazz and world music, spanning swing, bebop, jazz-funk, latin, Afrobeat and other popular styles. Led by saxophonist Mornington Lockett, the programme will include music by Artie Shaw, Cannonball Adderley, Horace Silver, Miles Davis, Joe Henderson, the Jazz Messengers, John Coltrane, Chick Corea, Robert Jospé, Lionel Loueke and Nate Smith.
