After the duo disbanded, Ayala formed Ramon Ayala y sus Bravos del Norte, continuing to shape the norteño landscape with hits such as "Un rinconcito en el cielo" and "Tragos amargos." Despite changes in band members, Ayala's influence remained steadfast, earning him multiple Grammy awards and a legacy of over 107 albums.
