“Hi-yo, Silver! Away!” Rossini’s William Tell Overture is best known for being featured as the theme song for the radio and television series The Lone Ranger. In 2024 Meyer received his sixth and seventh Grammy Awards for a collaborative recording “As We Speak” with Béla Fleck, Zakir Hussain, and Rakesh Chaurasia. The recording won Best Contemporary Album and Best Global Music Performance.
