Today’s recital The Library of a Prussian Princess, tells the story of Anna Amalia, Princess of Prussia (1723-1787), an extraordinary woman who made an enormous contribution to cultural life in 18th Century Berlin. This programme highlights music from her personal library and combines well-known favourites by Handel and J S Bach with music by Anna Amalia, Geminiani, and C P E Bach
