The format for this show is a parody of a Lifetime Original Movie complete with strange, formulaic pacing, an all-female or almost all-female cast, overdramatically cliche writing, and a tendency towards extreme suspense thrillers or meant-to-be-inspirational stories based on a woman’s real life.
