After his wonderful performances of Beethoven with the Hallé in 2024, former Terence Judd-Hallé Award winner Tom Borrow returns to perform the piano quintet by César Franck. One of the composer’s major works, the three large-scale movements have a dark and turbulent emotional power, unified by a motif that recurs throughout.
