Prior to the Japan tour of "The Next Step Band Reunion", Kurt Rosenwinkel, known as the "Emperor of Modern Jazz Guitar", will perform a special stage with up-and-coming jazz musicians active in Japan. The members are popular players who are leading the new generation jazz scene, active in leader projects, various sessions, and bands: Shun Ishiwaka (drums), Mei Inoue (guitar), Shota Watanabe (piano), and Marty Holobec (bass). This will be the first time for Ishiwaka and Inoue to perform together with Kurt in 2016 as Shun Ishiwaka's clean-up trio, eight years ago, and for Watanabe and Holobec, this will be their first time performing together. What will these musicians, who are not limited to jazz but have been active in a variety of fields and have experienced numerous sessions, portray? Expectations are high for a thrilling development.

LAGHEADS, a super JAM POP band that brings together the most talented young musicians in the current music scene, from jazz to J-POP, will make their first appearance! Formed by four first-call musicians who are active in touring and recording with various artists, Fumihiro Ibuki (drums), Jun Miyagawa (keyboards), Sho Ogawa (guitar), and Ren Yamamoto (bass), they released their first EP, "What is "LAGHEADS"? " in 2022. Their outstanding sense of jazz and soul, combined with the lightness of J-POP, has become a hot topic. Their second EP "Where is "LAGHEADS"? " release live was sold out, and they have been the headliner at festivals, and their success knows no bounds. This performance will feature vocalist HIMI and KIRINJI's Takaki Horikomi, who will co-star in a new song to be released in February, as guests to showcase their unique world.
