Here is a unique opportunity to experience star soprano Danielle de Niese in a portrayal of female characters pushed to their extreme limits. In Purcell's tragic baroque opera, Queen Dido must die for her love for Aeneas. In Weill's burlesque, cabaret-inspired satire, two sisters must sacrifice all their principles to get ahead in the world.
