Dane Alva Holm was just 16 years old when she made her debut with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in Carl Nielsen's demanding violin concerto and won first prize in Sweden's prestigious music competition Polstjärnepriset. Since then, commissions and prizes have flowed in, and now she will perform in one of the violin repertoire's greatest concerts - Brahms' popular Violin Concerto
