Beleaguered coach Greg Townsend (Matthew Modine) is in charge of taking an unlikely crew of incarcerated students from a Colorado correctional facility on an epic 1,000-mile bike ride. Forced to work together while battling obstacles, themselves, and (occasionally) each other, the group is pushed to the limit on a gruelling and transformational journey taking them from Denver, across the desert, to the spectacularly beautiful Grand Canyon.
