Set in the 1620s, a young swordsman comes to Paris, seeking to join the Royal Guard. Initially refused, but determined to prove his worth and loyalty, he leads in thwarting plots against the King and Queen by the King’s chief advisor – Cardinal Richelieu – while making friends with three of the King’s Musketeers. With beautiful costuming, dramatic action scenes, and a fast moving story, performed by a team of professional actors aged 11 – 65 from around south Devon, this is a production not to be missed.
