See the result of groundbreaking artists mentoring a new generation of outstanding young performers. The celebrated Bach interpreter and 2024-25 Artist-in-Residence Simone Dinnerstein leads a performance of the composer’s keyboard concerti with young pianists from Kaufman’s Special Music School High School. The Grammy-nominated pianist celebrated for her originality, elegance and spellbinding playing first came to wider public attention in 2007 through her recording of Bach’s Goldberg Variations and is celebrated as “a unique voice in the forest of Bach interpretation” (The New York Times). Dinnerstein has played with orchestras ranging from the New York Philharmonic and Montreal Symphony Orchestra to the London Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale Rai and has made 13 albums, all of which topped the Billboard charts.
