Extc - Terry Chambers & Friends

Formed in 1998 in Zurich, Switzerland, The Hillbilly Moon Explosion exists in a middle ground between the traditionalism of many rockabilly revival bands and the rougher, spookier sound of psychobilly.

Founded by vocalist and rhythm guitarist Emanuela Hutter and bassist/vocalist Oliver Baroni, their music has more than its share of retro twang, with Hutter's polished, enigmatic singing blending with the sometimes raucous, sometimes moody guitar lines, and they add dashes of rockabilly, surf, blues, punk, lounge pop, country and even ska to season their evocative mix.

In 2014 the band filmed three live music videos back at the farm. The second one, their new and fresh take on AC/DC classic Thunderstruck took the internet by storm. Suddenly this flock of seagulls found themselves touring around the world, recording an album and touring harder than ever.

For the last 15 years Polar have given everything to build a strong reputation and becoming a force to be reckoned with. In 2023 Polar went through a major line-up change leaving founding member Adam Woodford (singer) to carry the torch as the relationship between past members dissolved. Determined to take a negative situation and turn it into a positive, Adam Woodford rebuilt Polar bringing on board Stefan Whiting (Bass), Bruno Consani (Guitar), Simon Richardson (Guitar) and Max Flohr (Drums) with the focus to give Polar a whole new lease of life. With a fresh new perspective and positivity, the newly formed Polar have played main stage at Resurrection Festival, completed European and UK tours and have written and record Polar’s 6th studio album with producer Jack Murphy (Crystal Sound Studios) ‘Five Arrows’ which goes deep into the subject of the destructive power of change, which Polar regard as their strongest work to date. With Polar finding a new positivity and determination, the band truly feels unstoppable and continue to grow from strength to strength. Polar are stronger than they have ever been and nothing will get in their way.

Their first album, Lifesigns, was released in February 2013 and sold well, briefly reaching the UK top 100 album chart. Laura Jane Grace is a major figure in today’s rock scene as both a solo artist and the front person of Against Me!, which she founded in Naples, FL in the late 1990s. As a working artist, she has released four solo offerings and seven albums with Against Me!, and in 2012 went public with her gender transition in the pages of Rolling Stone. In her music, she continues to detail her journey all while staying true to her earlier themes of outspoken political critique – environmentalism along with personal and social liberation – with a base in American music including country and folk-rock, with a penchant for noise and anarchy.
