Following on from their critically acclaimed sold-out UK arena tour, Texas will be bringing their popular, crowd loving live show to Scarborough next summer.

 

Fronted by Sharleen Spiteri, Texas will showcase five decades of music from the worldwide classic I Don’t Want A Lover to the modern-day hits of Mr Haze and Keep on Talking when they headline TK Maxx presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Saturday July 26.

Since forming in Stockport in 2013, Blossoms – Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan and Myles Kellock – have enjoyed widespread success and acclaim. 

Their 2016 debut Blossoms topped the UK album chart for two consecutive weeks and went on to earn the band BRIT Award and Mercury Prize nominations. 2018’s follow up Cool Like You charted at Number Four, spawning the anthemic singles I Can’t Stand It, There’s A Reason Why (I Never Returned Your Calls) and How Long Will This Last?

Building on a legacy that dates back 45 years to his formative years in inner-city Birmingham, singer and guitarist Ali’s touring ensemble remains the most authentic realisation of UB40’s original aim of advancing reggae in all its guises.

Global pop-rock sensation The Script are ready to rock the Yorkshire coast next summer as part of their Satellites UK Tour.

The Irish chart toppers will head to TK Maxx presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Saturday July 5. They will be joined on the night by very special guest Tom Walker.

The show at Scarborough OAT – Britain’s biggest open-air concert arena – marks a welcome return to the Yorkshire coast for the band, who headlined the venue in 2018 and 2022.

The Script

The band are riding a career high right now. In January, their sixth studio album, the critically acclaimed A Matter of Timedebuted at Number One on the official UK Album Charts.

Then, just last week, they celebrated as Liquid Gold – a sensational album which revisits and reimagines iconic tracks from their glorious 30-plus year career – hit top spot on its first week of release.
