The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, commonly referred to as The Wallis, is a prominent cultural institution located in Beverly Hills, California. It has produced and presented an impressive array of over 275 performances, encompassing dance, theater, opera, classical music, film, and family-oriented programs. The eclectic nature of its programming reflects the diversity of Los Angeles and has earned the center critical acclaim, including nominations for 48 Ovation Awards and seven L.A. Drama Critic's Circle Awards.\n\nThe Wallis is housed in a striking 70,000-square-foot facility that has received six architectural awards, blending historical elegance with contemporary design. The building was designed by the renowned architect Zoltan E. Pali of SPF:architects. It incorporates the original 1933 Beverly Hills Post Office, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, which now serves as the theater's grand lobby. The complex also features the state-of-the-art 500-seat Bram Goldsmith Theater, the intimate 150-seat Lovelace Studio Theater, and an inviting open-air plaza that hosts a variety of performances.\n\nA key component of The Wallis is GRoW @ The Wallis: A Space for Arts Education, which provides a wide range of learning opportunities for individuals of all ages and backgrounds, emphasizing the center's commitment to education and community engagement.\n\nLeadership at The Wallis is provided by Michael Nemeroff, who serves as the Chairman of the Board, and Rachel Fine, the Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer.
