The Furrow Collective is an English/Scottish band consisting of four talented and individually prominent performers: Lucy Farrell (viola, voice & saw), Rachel Newton (harp, fiddle, voice), Emily Portman (banjo, concertina, voice) and Alasdair Roberts (guitars, voice). The Wandering Hearts are a three part vocal harmony group that formed in London in 2015. The band received the Bob Harris Emerging Artist award at the UK Americana awards in 2018 after Bob had shown them huge support on his radio show. This made them the first British band to have their debut at the Ryman and Opry in the same week! The eccentric and self-made Goodiepal has influenced the course of modern music through radical excursions into computer technology and media art. Until recently he has been employed as a teacher at DIEM (Danish Institute for Electro-acoustic Music) at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, Denmark. Goodiepal declared intellectual war against the stupidity in modern computer music and media art, which is to say against The Royal Academy of Music, when he quit the job in 2008. As per 2012 he lives somewhere in Europe and is married to the road.
