Because we are taught false definitions of love from a young age, it is harder for us to experience it as we grow up. Contrary to what literature, film, and television portray us to be, desire is only one ingredient of love. Just like affection and romance. If our society could agree on a common understanding of what love means, the act of loving would not be so confusing.

Love or Nothing

Water has invaded the city. It seeps in everywhere, even to the stage of the theater where a precarious structure floats on which eleven girls and women, aged 5 to 70, choose to take refuge. Tremors, power outages, small and large collapses spin the plot of a cohabitation surrounded by catastrophe. However, between sisterhood and dissidence, the game invites itself. At the whim of metamorphoses sometimes worrying, sometimes joyful, the imagination of each one makes the absence of horizons drift. The water rises and with it the field of possibilities widens like so many grimaces at the rumbling threat.

Creatures

Marie disappeared. At the time of her disappearance, she knew that her life was at a turning point, that is, at that moment in life when something can still happen. She knew that one should not mistake one's desires for reality, that life very rarely gave us what we expected of it. That is why Marie loved the theater. She loved that the theater told false stories to say true things. What could have made Marie disappear, in other words, given her the desire to escape and reappear?

A Woman's Life

One day, Michèle asks her daughter if she wants to be informed of the death of her father, absent from her life. Krystel realizes that she has been obsessed by this eventuality since she was very young. This question propels her into a profound quest for meaning that goes beyond the filial bond and teaches her how to approach death rather than flee from it.
