In 1995, the company relocated to North Hollywood and became a non-profit organization the following year. The Antaeus Academy, offering classical training to professional artists, was established in 2002, and the company's Arts Education outreach programs commenced in 2003, expanding its impact on the community. Under the leadership of Co-Artistic Directors John Apicella and Jeanie Hackett, Antaeus began to professionalize its administrative and fundraising efforts in 2005, aiming to secure a permanent home. The company operated temporarily at Deaf West Theatre in North Hollywood while continuing to expand its programming and search for a permanent venue. Jeanie Hackett took the helm as sole Artistic Director in 2009, leading to the production of Antaeus's first full season in 2010.
