The show Uvattini (which means "home" in Inuktitut) mixes music, narration, videos and performance to imagine a space where past and present merge, bringing out bittersweet memories and raw emotions. The recent arrival of principal horn to the symphony orchestra, Mikhailo Babiak, will be highlighted in brilliant fashion. In her first one-woman show, directed by Mario Jean, the excellent storyteller takes us on all sorts of stories, each funnier and more surprising than the last.  

Whether it's her purchase of an entire greenhouse on a whim, colorful clients that she sometimes had to reframe, huge blunders that were narrowly corrected, accidents involving bouquets of flowers, her years as a massage therapist or debt collector... when Marthe tells her story, we never get bored and we laugh from beginning to end.

With solid and mastered folk-rock music, Pako performs the lyrics he writes in his native language, Atikamekw. He addresses strong subjects such as the importance of language, the values ​​and history of his community, identity, the environment, human relationships and the hope for a better life. Pako has the raw words and the deep, raspy voice of a bluesman who has traveled but who always returns to draw his folk inspiration from the Atikamekw roots of his Manawan forest, in Quebec, where he lives.
