Actors' Playhouse at The Miracle Theatre, established in 1988, is a renowned private nonprofit professional theatre organization located in Coral Gables, Florida. Recognized as a Florida Presenting Cultural Organization and one of thirteen major cultural institutions in Miami-Dade County, it is celebrated for its critically acclaimed dramatic and musical theatre productions. The theatre presents a full season of Mainstage and Children's programs, along with extensive educational outreach and community service initiatives. Originally housed in a converted Kendall movie theatre, Actors' Playhouse moved to the historic Miracle Theatre in 1995, following a partnership with the City of Coral Gables to renovate the Art Deco facility. The venue includes a 600-seat, a 300-seat, and a 100-seat space. Over the years, the theatre has produced more than 180 Mainstage productions and over 170 Children's Theatre productions, earning 90 Carbonell Awards for artistic excellence. It also hosts the annual Young Talent Big Dreams youth talent contest and offers a Theatre Conservatory with classes for various age groups. Actors' Playhouse is committed to enriching South Florida's cultural vitality and serves a diverse, multi-cultural audience. The organization is supported by public sponsorships and donations and operates under a 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.
