FLOYD HUTCHINSON is loved by audiences for his rich, melodic voice, and easygoing charm. His warmth, sensitivity and vocal power allows him to interpret all nuances and subtleties of the songs he sings and his quartet of seasoned musicians complete the unique style of his shows that slide from jazz to blues. His vocal style reflects his admiration for great jazz standard singers of past and present including Nat King Cole, Chet Baker, Cécile McLorin Sal, Gregory Porter and Kevin Mahogany.

A theatrical show about near death experiences presented by an ensemble of five of the region’s most accomplished actors/storytellers: Jamaal Akbari, Natalie Fraser, Kai Iverson, Julie Le Gal, and Peter Haworth, along with Chas Guay, musician.

La guerre des tuques raconte l’histoire d’une bataille épique entre deux bandes de jeunes dont l’enjeu est un grand château de neige et de glace. L’un des groupes est dirigé par Luc, un chef jusqu’alors incontesté et l’autre est dirigé par Pierre et son inséparable Saint-Bernard. Une nouvelle venue au village, Sophie, se joindra bientôt à la bande de Pierre. Cette comédie sur l’amitié, la rivalité et la solidarité touche petits et grands par sa fraîcheur et son authenticité.

Landon Coleman delivers elegant, stylized, retro pop-rock sounding. He loves Nat King Cole, Carole King, and the power of strings, horns and a good melody. Landon's music is eclectic and upbeat and he's a gifted entertainer who keeps up a humorous banter sprinkled with storytelling during his show. Landon, a talented singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, will be on guitar and vocals, joined by a hot, six piece band featuring Carlo Tayler – electric guitar, Allyson Tayler – vocals & glockenspiel, Pat Brennan – piano & vocals, Noah Villeneuve – drums, Andre Morrill – electric bass, Jamie Paulsen – trombone.

Landon AR Coleman

Alireza Tarviji, born in Iran, began taking violin lessons at the age of 7, performing in the Gilan Philharmonic and Tehran Conservatory orchestras, before moving to Canada in 2020 to continue his studies. He is currently studying music at the University of Ottawa and is continuing his experience in various orchestras. He enjoys playing modern pieces and chamber music, as well as conducting, and exploring different musical genres.

As a farmer raised in agriculture, music was part of our family life. From a young age, I learned to play several instruments thanks to those around me and Bluegrass became my favorite genre. Aside from farm duties, I have also taken on the challenge of making my own mandolins and hope to share the skill and quality of sound with others. Dreams come true.

Angels Share is presented by the non-profit organization Partage Chelsea Share, which mobilizes support for those in need in the Gatineau Hills and beyond. This year’s concert will benefit the Wakefield Food Pantry and Le Grenier des Collines.

Woodshed Jazz formed during the depths of lockdown and have been spreading the joy of classic jazz standards throughout the region ever since. On 6th December we are presenting a unique trio of percussion, saxophones and vocals at Share the Mic at La Fab on Mill.

This second edition of the Collines-en-musique family café-concerts at La Fab presents a morning of baroque chamber music with Suren Barry on the harpsichord, Mélisande Corriveau on the viola da gamba and soprano Meghan Lindsay. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate from the Café Les Saisons de Chelsea will be available. The show will last exactly one hour, with no intermission.

Meet Erivan GD, a Brazilian bassist and composer whose music, influenced by jazz and Brazilian roots, is a unique blend of intuition and experimentalism. Born in a rural area and raised on the culturally multifaceted outskirts of São Paulo, Erivan draws from diverse cultures in his artistic journey.
