The party returns! FabCollab is proud to announce the return of Indigenous Grooves, an electronic dance party, concert, live performances, and Indigenous marketplace, all rolled into one fabulous evening of festivities. Curated by the Miigwech Collective (Cotee Harper, Rosary Spence, and Tamar Ilana) the series is the first of its kind on Turtle Island, and features a woman and gender-diverse lineup of DJs, electronic music artists, traditional and modern singers and dancers, and arts and crafts vendors. It’s a celebration of urban Indigenous creativity like no other! The event will be held on Saturday May 24th, 2025 at TD Music Hall, the spectacular club in Massey Hall’s Allied Music Centre.

TMUsician’s 9th Battle of the Bands is an event run by students of Toronto Metropolitan University. This year, 6 student bands will go head-to-head in front of a panel of judges to win “band of the year” and claim our grand prize: a recording opportunity in Massey Hall’s studio. Each band will have 10 minutes to win over the audience and judges. For attendants, the night will be an unforgettable experience with some of the best up-and-coming talent the city has to offer.

Shibaali is a captivating musical project created by Habib in collaboration with Rouzbeh Esfandarmaz. Together, they craft energetic, breathless, and captivating compositions that reflect their rich cultural heritage.

Hailed as one of the most celebrated percussion players in the world music scene, Habib Meftah draws inspiration from his birthplace, Bushehr, a culturally diverse port city in southern Iran shaped by Persian, African, and Arab influences. With his vast experience working alongside international musicians like Adnan Joubran, Azam Ali, and Titi Robin, Habib brings his expertise to the fusion of EDM and southern Iranian music in Shibaali.

First debuting in Toronto, Canada, in 2015, the universally acclaimed Four Chords & The Truth multi-genre songwriter concert series has become a bucket-list favourite for songwriters to play and fans to enjoy, often selling out before line-ups are announced.

Featuring the crème de la crème of Canada’s top and emerging songwriters ‘confessing’ the secrets behind their songs in an intimate semi-circle, the series has featured over 150 Award-winning songwriters, including Juno and/or Grammy Award nominees and winners, Songwriter and Music Hall of Fame members, and even a few Officers of the Order of Canada. In June 2024, the series was pleased to also make its NYC debut..

On Saturday, February 8th, Monstrosa is bringing their alt-metal sound to TD Music Hall to commemorate the release of their latest single “778”. It will be followed by a screening of their first ever music video directed by Toronto-based filmmaker Tiffany Wice. Join Monstrosa for a night of music, special guest performances, and the world premiere of their thrilling, 70s horror inspired video. Doors at 6 PM, music at 7 PM.

About the band: Through a mix of metal riffs, emo rock, and melodic vocals, front-woman Lauren Pryce summons her band of monsters to create a sonic experience like none other. Monstrosa is an alt metal project that takes influence from acts like Evanescence, Muse, and St. Vincent. They have released two albums and have played across and around Toronto, where their electric live show became a staple to their name. Monstrosa is currently tracking their new EP which promises to be the heaviest yet.
