Gazpacho, anyone? A musical adaptation of Pedro Almodóvar’s beloved film of the same name, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown is the brainchild of the talented team behind Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. At the centre is Pepa, whose friends and lovers are blazing a trail through 1980’s Madrid. Along with Pepa, there’s her missing (possibly philandering) lover, Ivan; his ex-wife of questionable sanity, Lucia; their son, Carlos; Pepa’s friend, Candela and her terrorist boyfriend; a power-suited lawyer; and a taxi driver who dispenses tissues, mints, and advice in equal proportion. This unique production will be presented in concert format, performed with an orchestra and a dance ensemble.

Kamyar, a talented musician born in Tehran and raised in Paris, is celebrated for his multilingual singing and mastery of instruments like piano and bass guitar. Rising to fame as the lead singer of the Persian pop band Black Cats, he later built a successful solo career with over 50 songs and three albums. Kamyar has performed alongside icons such as Stevie Wonder and Googoosh, gracing stages like the Hollywood Bowl and Dolby Theatre. A coach on The Voice Persia and a mentor to select celebrities, Kamyar continues to inspire through his passion for music.
