Swervedriver

Swervedriver is not an artistic organization such as a venue or theatre. Instead, Swervedriver is a British alternative rock band formed in Oxford in 1989. Known for their fusion of swirling guitar effects and intricate song structures, they were part of the shoegaze movement. The band comprises founding members Adam Franklin and Jimmy Hartridge, among others. Their debut album, 'Raise,' released in 1991, includes the popular single 'Duel.' Despite disbanding in the late 1990s, Swervedriver reunited in 2008, releasing their fifth album, 'I Wasn't Born to Lose You,' in 2015. They've been influential in the alternative rock genre, inspiring a number of modern shoegaze and indie-rock bands. As Swervedriver is not a venue or a similar institution, it falls outside the scope of this specific information context.
